about kelly williams!

My name is Kelly Williams. I was raised in a Christian home, by parents who loved me, took me to church and taught me about the Lord and His Word. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of seven, but then went away from Him around the age of thirteen or fourteen. Thank the Lord, I came back on November 3, 1994 and rededicated my life to Him. That was the best decision I have ever made! The Lord has been giving me songs since 1995. At that time, I sang at church and at some revivals. In 1997, a friend and I started the group Hannah’s Song. We made a CD and started working on another one that was never finished. We ministered at prisons, churches, coffee houses and at the college I attended. We also traveled to Kansas, Illinois and Arizona. This continued until the end of 1998, when the other member of Hannah’s Song was promoted to a higher position in her job. Then, I began singing by myself at nursing homes, the county jail in my area, the truck stop ministry, the juvenile delinquent center, several different churches, County Fairs, the Dollar General store and wherever else the Lord has led me. I have also appeared on some TV programs, such as the Don Reed show, the Tony Talks Show, the Plus or Minus 60 show, the Mark Black show and the Share Program on family life TV. In September of 2001, my first solo CD, entitled Mercy in the Morning was released. I released my second CD, entitled If My People, in January of 2003. I released my third CD, Praise is the Key, in June, 2004. My fourth CD, Little is Much, was released in April of 2005. My fifth CD, Through It All, was released in June of 2006. My sixth CD, What’s In Your Hand, was released in June of 2007. My seventh CD, Still Looking to Jesus, was released in May of 2008. The recording, production and copying was made possible and provided for by the Lord, and He has blessed them (and me) tremendously. My first CD is currently being sold at the Spiritual Connection bookstore in Cornersburg, Ohio. In May of 2002, I completed the writing of a devotional book entitled This is The Day. It is available on cassette, CD, by e-mail or in print. I find that many people, including Christians, do not realize how much God loves them. I have known about Jesus since I was a child, that He was born of a virgin in a manger, and that He lived and died to save us from sin. I knew that God so loved the world, but didn’t understand that “the world” includes me and everyone else, whether they know it or not. I knew all about Jesus, but I didn’t know Him personally until November 3, 1994. At that time I realized that I have a friend that is always with me no matter where I am, what I’ve done, or what time it is. I have learned that I am never alone, thanks to Jesus, my best friend. As I go forward in ministry, my desire is to share the love of Jesus that passes knowledge, (Ephesians 3:19), with everyone I come in contact with. I also plan to rejoice in each new day that He gives me to minister, (Psalm 118:24), and to follow where He leads me, (Isaiah 30:21), and to be a faithful steward of the many blessings He gives to me, (Luke 12:48 and Matthew 25:21.)
